With specials coming from every restaurant out it can be pretty darn daunting when Valentine’s day comes swooping in. We’ve condensed some of the Clapham offerings into this handy guide to give you a hand.
Minnow, SW4 0HY
With their beaut, rosey exterior Minnow has to be one of the cutest restaurants in the area. They are putting on a delicious 3 course menu with their trademark delicious food. It’s going to be romantic.
What: £55pp for 3 courses & a side
Mommi, SW4 7UR
For a ‘Valentine’s done differently’ head to Mommi, where you’ll get a gorge meal and a glass of Champagne. They’ve got a load of vegan options to boot too, so great for any dates with dietaries.
What: £39.90 for 2 courses plus a sharing dessert and a coup of house Champagne
The Saxon, SW4 7UL
As ever, The Saxon are going just a little bit *extra*. You’ll get an extra course and Sean Ahern serenading you on the guitar all evening whilst you sip your special edition Valentine cocktail.
What: £45 for a 4 course meal, glass of Prosecco and live music
Hache, SW4 7SS
If you save the majority of your love for burgers, then Hache is the obvious choice. They’ve got a spoiling 3 courser where you can get all their classics (Le Fume, we see you) with sharing sides AND a cocktail to get you in the mood. For only £30, this has got to be one of the best valued menus about.
What: Nibbles for the table, 3 courses, sharing sides and a cocktail for £30pp
Megan’s, SW4 0JQ
Available for just 9 days from the 11th, Megans are sprucing up their regular (delicious) cookie dough desert and replacing it with the (delicious) Cupid dough. It will be dusted with rose petals and heart-shaped sprinkles. But don’t worry, that iconic Nutella centre isn’t going anywhere. Oh, and bring your pooch because there will be Valentine’s treats for your pup too.
What: £9.90 for a cookie dough to share
Lievito Madre, SW4 6DB
Our favourite pizza spot are putting on a Vday special from the 12th-15th. The dough will be pink with beetroot dough, and topped with mozzarella, ricotta, spicy salami and yellow datterino tomatoes. Yep, you can literally steal a slice of your date’s heart.
What: £14 for the special
Coffee Wake Cup, SW4 7BB
If you’re going for a romantic stroll around the Common with bae, then make sure to stop by Coffee Wake Cup. They are doing Panna cotta specials (to eat in or take away) and you can pair them with either 2 hot drinks or 2 glasses of Prosecco. CuTe!
