It really feels like Summer is gearing up, doesn’t it? News of headliners and new festivals are coming in thick and fast. Well here’s another for you!
Whizkid is headlining Clapham Common’s Yam Carnival on the 27th August. Other acts include Naira Marley, Flavour, Fally Ipupa, CKay and ShaSimone on the mainstage, and DJ Maphorisa, Kabza De Small, Major League DJz, and Young Stunna amongst many more will take to the Piano People Stage.
Yam is set to be bigger and better than ever, and improvements from last year include 3 food sites, longer bars (AKA shorter queues!). There’s also going to be a brand new sound system by Vanguardia, who put on some of the biggest shows in the UK and are in charge of Leeds and Reading festivals. So it’s going to sound good.
Tickets went on sale today (02/02/22) at 1pm, so get booking before it sells out!
