Your chance to join the ‘Unearthed Collective’

Studio Voltaire is looking for researchers to join a resident-led research group. Love Clapham, the arts, community & history? Read on.

What on Earth is the Unearthed Collective you ask? Let us tell you. It is a new research ground that will explore ‘Clapham’s community and history through the lens of arts and creative practice’. Sounds pretty cool, right? Well right now is your chance to get in on the action- they are currently recruiting for 10 locally-based researchers to join this brand new group.

Hosted by Studio Voltaire, this is a paid opportunity to run alongside their new Unearthed programme. The 10 chosen researchers will work with Studio Voltaire across a year (starting in December) and get to go to talks, workshops, go on local visits and collaborate on projects to investigate local issues. Throughout the year there will be regular meetings, both online and in person to help communicate all the findings and perspectives of different Clapham residents.

Sound like a bit of you? The Unearthed Collective is especially looking for people who:

  • Are aged 16 and over and Live, work or have a strong connection to Clapham
  • Are interested in the arts, and have an interest in taking part in a creative project
  • Are passionate about their community and local history
  • Have a willingness to share their experiences of our programme and provide critical feedback
