The Chef Series at Drop on The Common that you need to book

This chef series is a rare moment where you’ll see chefs behind some of the best restaurants in London take centre stage & make their own menu.

Clapham is lucky to have some pretty talented people around it and the chefs in the Trinity group have really earned their stripes… well, stars. The Michelin starred restaurant, Trinity, is a gem in the Clapham landscape, and if you’ve wanted to taste the fruits of their work but haven’t managed to nab a spot at the booked restaurant then this is your chance.

The chefs of Trinity, Upstairs and Bistro Union are taking over the kitchen at Drop on The Common on Tuesday evenings with dates already planned up until January next year. Their pop-ups mean that they can really show off their own styles; unlike within the restaurant kitchens, here the chefs will be completely in charge of what they are making. Expect a diverse range of menus at different price points from some really talented people; the Trinity group really do have the top chefs working from them- many have already worked at impressive locations (think Claridges, The Goring, The Berkley…) before sharpening their knives in the kitchens of Clapham.

Here is the line up of chefs, with the dates they are cooking, so you can get excited… and get booking too:

  • 6th June: Morgan Barnes, Senior Chef De Partie at Trinity
  • 4th July: David Barnes, Sous Chef at Bistro Union
  • 1st August: Saverio Scarcella, Sous Chef at Upstairs
  • 29th August: Kristian Elias, Chef De Partie at Trinity
  • 12th September: Benjamin Dawson, Chef De Partie at Trinity
  • 26th September: George Bearman, Chef De Partie at Trinity
  • 24th October: John Smith, Senior Chef De Partie at Trinity
  • 21st November: Adam Byatt and the Apprentices from Royal Academy of Culinary Arts
    Ben Cicco and India Thompson
  • 16th January: Kieran Rudolph
