Newson’s Yard opened on Pimlic Road in November last year, and has converted a 19th century timber yard into a design hub full of innovative shops and eateries. One such eatery- moving in at the beginning of this year- is Wildflowers. This food coming to this modern European restaurant is already widely loved by those who have tasted it at one of the recent pop-ups that chef, Aaron Potter, has been hosting over the capital.

Potter has an impressive CV, having worked as executive chef at Maria G’s and as head chef at the Michelin starred Elystan Street. Since then, he’s been touring London with pop up supper clubs showcasing his cooking and giving diners an insight into the kind of menu that we can expect at his new, permanent spot. In keeping with the name ‘Wildflowers & Wine’, the dishes will be fresh, bright and creative; shrimp fritters, grilled sugar pit pork chop with gremolata, fig leaf pastel de nata… it’s the kind of food that you’re going to really want to eat.

The space will reflect the menu. Split over 2 floors, the restaurant and terrace will be downstairs whilst upstairs is a large bar area and private dining room. There’ll be a large wine selection and a deli too, so it’s expected that the restaurant to be busy throughout the day and into the night too.

Wildflowers & Wine will be opening at 57 Pimlico Road, SW1W 8NE. Date TBC.
