Celebrate Roots and Culture in Tooting this Black History Month

Black History Month is coming to an end, but Tooting is making sure it goes out on a high. On Sunday 30th Totterdown Street will be transformed into a celebration of all things roots and culture. With live music, poetry, comedy, crafts, cultural dancing and, of course, some delicious traditional eats this is exactly where you should be between 12pm and 6pm. It will be a busy schedule of exciting things to see and do- all with the overarching theme of mental health and wellbeing. Plus, Clapham-born author Tony Fairweather will be talking about his debut book Twenty-Eight Pounds Ten Shillings: A Windrush Story which you can catch at 2.30pm; just reserve your seat here.
