…Or just have a night in

Sometimes all you want to do is get your gals/pals over and bury yourself in a tub of Ben & Jerry’s with a chic-flick. And honestly, that sounds pretty good to us. Make sure you fuel properly for your big night in with our 5 favourite takeaways at the moment.

  1. Negril. If you can’t get spice from other parts of your life, then get it from this Caribbean food. Jerk chicken, saltfish fritters or maybe a juicy roti wrap. You can’t go wrong so roll up your sleeves and get down and dirty with this one.
  2. Okan. The ‘Japanese Tapas’ section of the menu is really fun, so if there are a few of you getting involved then get as many small dishes as you can, because they’re all really good. Oh, and make sure you’ve got some Asahi chilling in the fridge for the perfect paring.
  3. Pizza Brixton. When only carbs will do. Arguably some of the best crusts we’ve had in London, treat yourself to the truffle cheese dip and really make the most of it.
  4. Eat of Eden. If you’ve got a fussy mate-date then Eat of Eden is a great shout. You can pick and choose different elements of your platter to make it unique to you. It’s vegan, hearty and always delicious.
  5. Sushi Revolution. Sushi is surprisingly comforting. We love the tempura maki platter from here, so grab that, a few rolls and a couple of sides and you’ve got a sharing feast.
