A bottomless brunch to get your heart racing

Osteria Mbare are really not messing around with this latest brunch announcement. They’ve already made themselves a name for doing bottomless pasta and Prosecco brunches, they’re legendary for a reason. Bottomless carbs is every savoury lovers dream and you can really go for it at this Clapham High Street restaurant. Plates of linguine, pici, ravioli, pappardelle… you just keep ordering and they just keep coming. And what we are especially grateful for at Osteria Mbare is that it is not just a quantity thing. They don’t sacrifice the quality of the food they are putting out just because you are getting merry on fizz, oh no. This is some of the best pasta we’ve had outside of Italy and we’re not the only ones who think so- have a flick through their reviews and you’ll find we aren’t unique in this opinion.

But anyway- those were the original brunches. Now they’re stepping them up even more. How, you ask? Drag, we answer. Every last Sunday of the month they are putting on a huge show where you can get that gorgeous bottomless pasta and bubble brunch AND you’ll be entertained by some of the finest drag talent there is. Kyran Thrax and Vivian Bam Bam will be regular hosts with new queens performing every month. Yep, you can go again and again and the shows will never be identical.

We went down for a sneak preview of what the brunches will entail and were blown away by the talent of the acts, the generosity of the Prosecco pouring and the deliciousness of the pasta. The pasta was put on our tables to share between acts so there was a nice gap between courses which meant we didn’t get to full and the show? Well let us tell you, it was a show. You will come away really full, a little tipsy and very, very entertained.

There will be two sittings each Sunday either 12-2pm or 2-4pm and your £60 ticket price will get you all the food, booze and entertainment you could possibly want. Say goodbye to the Sunday scaries and say a big hello to the Monday morning hangover. Believe us, it is worth the headache at your 9am team meeting.
