Downstairs at the Department Store are getting ready to host the Black Culture Market this October and we can’t wait.
This October is Black History Month, and to mark the occasion the Black Culture Market is coming back to Brixton. Opening the month, which aims to recognise and raises more awareness of black history, the event will be running on the 1st and 2nd from 11am to 5pm.
The market itself will be jam packed full of incredible, African and Caribbean owned small businesses. You’ll be able to find a whole host of goodies there; from cosmetics to clothes, stationary to art… and so much more. The event is the perfect way to kick off the month- plus it is completely free to attend! Register for a ticket and get ready to discover your new favourite small businesses.
