If you’re as fed up with this ‘summer’ that we are having this year, then head to Bottle + Rye on 13th August.La Belle Vie: Sunday 13th August
We are well and truly fed up of the Great British ‘summer’ so instead have decided to bring a taste of the South of France to our corner of Brixton Village. Join us for an afternoon celebrating Provençal dishes and wine. @robin.gill.food will be taking over the kitchen with his French inspired menu including a ‘Penzance gurnard, spiced cuttlefish and fennel bouillabaisse with saffron aioli and crisps’ ‘Ruben’s smoked and grilled merguez’ and a ton of cheese! The wine list will feature natural and crisp French whites and rosés and Sharon will be curating a selection of cocktails for the day. With live music from 2pm, we’ll be serving up that little slice of summer that we’ve all been craving. Reservations available through our website and walk ins welcome too.
The UK isn’t really delivering on the whole ‘summer’ thing, is it? And though the weather might have missed the memo, Bottle + Rye did not, and they’re intent on bringing some sunshine to this wet and windy August. On Sunday 13th they are bringing the South of France to Brixton with their event ‘La Belle Vie’. The food and drink will be all things French- think bouillabaisse with saffron aioli, smoked and grilled merguez and a lot of cheese. The wine will be crisp (whites and rosés) and there will be a couple of cocktail specials too. And to make sure the vibes are good all day long, there will even be live music from 2pm. Book in to guarantee a spot, but there will be spaces for walk-ins too!
