Brookemorgan Henry-Rennie recently won a year’s residency at Squire & Partners Department Store Studios. She was awarded the workspace through the studios’ residency programme (which includes a desk membership, mentoring and access to the screening room, members’ lounge and meeting areas). Brookemorgan won the residency after pitching her project ‘She Oath’.
She Oath is all about improving the quality of life for vulnerable young girls and women.It does this through events, coaching and creating opportunities for those who might otherwise be pushed to the bottom of the pile.
Off the success of her business thus far, Brookemorgan is hosting a galentines event: ‘She’s Boss’ on 13th February. Kicking off at 6.50pm, the event will bring “like minded females together for a night of pitching, networking and panel full of tips and tricks of how to navigate the entrepreneurial journey.” It’s the perfect opportunity to mingle with other bosses and there’s even the chance to win £500 in prize money on the night too!
And, ok, we know this event is being held in East London- but its roots are in Brixton and what an organisation to support! This event will be well worth the tube journey.
