Clapham’s Roti Joupa is relocating

It is a sad moment for the Caribbean connoisseurs of Clapham. Trinidadian takeaway joint Roti Joupa has shut it’s high street location.

The premises that Roti Joupa’s owner, Savitri Parey, has occupied have been open for over a decade. During that time they’ve served Clapham punters delicious, authentic and cheap Trinidadian food. Roti, of course, hot doubles, curries and chana are amongst their most loved items.

However, the time has come for them to seek pastures new, and though they will most certainly be missed on Clapham High Street there are rumours that we won’t need to go too far to find them again… The plan is that they’ll be relocating to an undisclosed location in Balham. Fingers crossed they open again soon, the SW Londoners need their roti!
