Watch out for fake news, it’s all around us! See some properly famous comedians take on the ‘jiggery pokery’ theme, all for a good cause.
Drink this one in! Drink brand Cawston Press are linking up with The Clapham Grand to host an evening for the benefit of their charity partner FareShare. It’s an event that has all the ingredients for a good time; comedy, drinks and all for a good cause. If you’re over 18 years old and free on 8th June at 7.30pm, there is nowhere else to be.
The line-up is funny… in a good way. Lou Sanders, Pierre Novellie, Ahir Shah and Glenn Moore are all huge names who will be taking to the iconic stage of The Clapham Grand to make you laugh. The theme is all about ‘Jiggery Pokery’; the comedians will pull apart the ‘ridiculous claims and increasing layers of nonsense experiences in our everyday lives’ for an evening of hilarious honesty.
Suitably, no jiggery pokery is a big part of the Cawston Press ethos; they’re all about clean, simple ingredients and being as transparent with their consumers as possible. And they make some seriously delicious drinks whilst they’re at it. At the event you’ll be able to get a taste of them too; they’ll be serving cocktail/mocktail specials like the fabulously named ‘Let the fun Be-Gin’ and the ‘Rhubarb AperLols Spritz’.
Money raised from the event will go to FareShare which distributes good-to-eat food (that would otherwise go to waste) to over 1 million people over the UK; something especially crucial during the cost of living crisis. In their work they manage to fight both food waste and hunger issues in one go. A charity truly worth supporting.
If you’d like to join in on the fun whilst supporting a terrific cause, then book your tickets via the link below. Act fast- these are going to disappear faster than a crate of Cawston Press in your fridge.
