As Charles officially becomes King after a splendid coronation ceremony, it’s time to celebrate the new monarch and engage in some good-hearted fun.
With two days of festivities behind us, we’re shaking off the hangover and getting ready for action. To honour the King’s lifetime of public service, people across the UK are dedicating Monday, May 8th, to volunteering.
We joined forces with Friends of Clapham Common and participated in The Big Help Out, a nationwide initiative encouraging citizens to volunteer on this special day.
Eager to make a difference, we assembled at Clapham Common this morning, equipped with gloves, trash bags, and a shared passion for contributing to our community and environment.
Working together, we collected litter while sharing stories and laughter. This collaborative effort brought people from different backgrounds together, symbolizing unity during this historic event.
Reflecting on our hard work, we felt a sense of accomplishment and gratitude. Proud to be part of The Big Help Out, we cherished the opportunity to work alongside our neighbours on this momentous day.
