“There’s no such thing as a free lunch”… unless you’re in Brixton at 11.30am on the 1st of December, where there very much is a free lunch.
Set your alarms, because this is not a drill! On the 1st December from 11.30am, the viral foodies at mob will be bringing their famous munch to none other than Windrush Square.
If you don’t know, mob started on social media as a page that shared videos of recipes for ‘food you’ll actually cook’. Check out their Instagram for all kinds of recipes that will get you dashing to your nearest Sainsbury’s to pick up the ingredients.
This Thursday (1st December) they are cooking up a festive twist on the usual turkey sub. The ‘everything but the turkey’ sandwiches will be stuffed with cranberry, Camembert and Brussels sprout slaw… as they said, everything but the turkey (and, let’s face it, the bits of Christmas that you’re actually into). Made in collaboration with Gorillas, an app that delivers groceries to your door in record time, all you’ll need to do to get your hands on some delicious lunch is to rock up to Windrush Square from 11.30am and have the Gorillas app downloaded on your phone. Bish, bash, everything-but-the-turkey bosh.
