Three places to get your pancake fix

The big day is looming! This year pancake day falls on the 1st March and we’ve found 3 of South West London’s best pancakes for you to try. Save yourself the stress of burnt batter and soggy middles and head to one of these spots for pancake perfection.

For the brunch lover

We’re not messing about. Granger & Co are renowned for their ricotta hotcakes. Slathered with honeycomb butter and topped with banana they’ve earned their name within the London pancake scene for a reason. Get a side of bacon to cut through the sweetness, get a latte and you’ll be set for the perfect brunch in their gorgeous Pavilion Rd location.

For the adventurous one

We couldn’t do an article about pancakes and ignore the Balham pancake capital. Milk is fun because you’ve got no idea what the toppings will be, the menu changes frequently. Last time we checked they were serving poached pear, honeycomb Chantilly, chunks of gingerbread & custard pudding atop buckwheat pancakes. Get a mouthful of that.

For the one who usually gets avo

You want to do pancake day, right? But it’s on a Tuesday and really, between the gym and work and shaking your protein you’re just NOT going to have time to fit in flipping pancakes. And like, pancakes are great etc but think of the macros! They’ll never fit in the plan. That’s where you’re wrong! Acai Girls are a healthy Battersea based kitchen ready to ping out vegan pancakes all over the South West. And you can choose three toppings to really personalise your pancake experience. We’ve got our eyes on the chia jam and cacao nibs. Delicious and nutritious.
