Bingo to brunches and everything inbetween, Tooting is full to the brim with excellent events to keep you entertained this April.

Celebrate Furzedown Farmers’ Markets 1st birthday

Celebrate a whole year of the Furzedown Farmers’ Market with this special edition Saturday market. There will be over 20 stalls, along with a showcase from Ford Performing Arts School and face painting for the kiddies too.


Go to a dried flower workshop

Test out those green fingers at this dried flower workshop where, for 1.5 hours you’ll put together a dried flower bouquet on a wooden block which you’ll be able to take home with you. A wholesome evening’s activity where profits will go towards the Syria and Turkey earthquake recovery.

Love2Draw host untutored life drawing classes, which means they are perfect for both beginners and advanced drawers alike. Go at your own pace with no pressure- your style in your own time! There is often a burlesque theme to the classes, so expect bold colours and shapes.

The Corin have promised that they’ll be ‘serving up blue skies along with a classic gourmet brunch’. The gourmet brunch we know they’ll deliver on, and let’s just hope that the English weather plays ball so you can enjoy it alfresco on their outdoor terrace. Chilled piano music to accompany your unlimited Prosecco? Yep, sounds like spring.

You’ve got two chances to go to this special supper club. Unwined have collaborated with Ding Ding, the  Hong Kong-inspired eatery, to bring you a three course ‘duck and pinot’ menu. For £40 you’ll get a delicious spread of duck-based dishes (vegan options available!) and paired wine too.


BYOD brunch

BYOD: Bring Your Own Dog, obviously. Brunch can only be made better with the addition of a furry friend, and The Trafalgar Arms is letting you dine with your dog. Get one of their brunch dishes and a mimosa, and let your pooch tuck into their ‘dog’s dinner’ and a pawsecco. There will also be the oppertunity to get your pup’s portrait with some live dog drawing.
